Knowing what forex trading hours is something you must consider when getting into the forex game.The market is a 24 hour market.This is very good for part time traders and people that have full time jobs,you can trade when your schedule permits it,not like other markets.For people that don't have full-time jobs they can trade the New york open it starts at 8:00est this is a nice trading session because the stock market opensup at 9:30 am along with all the futures trading that helps pick up the volatility.Some of the best moves are made between 8:00am and 12:00pm est.You will find within these trading hours you will get the chance to make a few good trades,this is my favorite time to trade ,and you can still have a normal life.Than there'sthose people that work during the day,and cant wait to get home to make some serious money after supper,that's why this market is so good,there's something for everyone.The Asian session opens up at 19:00est,even though it is already open it just means there will be more players,so you will get more volume and much better trading opportunities.The GBP/JPY and EUR/JPY are favorites for this session,the GBP/JPYhas the largest pip move over most of the currencies throughout the week.Another good session is theLondon open,things get rolling here around 3:00am eastern,this session can get some great moves in the direction of the trend if there is one,and there can be some very significant counter trend changes that the short term trader can take advantage of.So you never have to worry about missing something because this market never sleeps.This market opens up Sunday at 5:00pm est till 4:00pm est Friday.
